Summer vacation art project, first

First day of summer vacation. Resolution: make art every day. Today's project was to attach a ring to BoB (my Chesapeake skiff) for which to attach the painter. Started with a bicycle kickstand. (For odd reasons I have many.)

Bent it into a roundish shape with a hammer.

Squished it with a clamp.

Welded it shut.

And done.

Keep your teeth together.

I made a video for my parents. I think I am going to get a video camera so I can do better.

Every now and then a mood grabs me, a mood that demands a theme song. This is an example of something I am feeling now.

My sister's family invited me to spend a wonderful week in the Bahamas on their boat. The boat was named after the matron and she loves owls. This was my thankyou.

New in an irregular series. Something I made. I make things compulsively. But it is Okay because everyone should make some art.

In the morning, before anyone else is up, a cup of coffee, a full day before me.
